“You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world.” Matthew 5: 13a and 14a.
When you visit Pinnacle Legal this year, you’ll see saltshakers and candles around the office because we want to remind ourselves to be salt and light to our clients, our friends, and everyone else we encounter. So, we’ve been asking ourselves what it means to be salt and light. Here’s what we’ve got so far:
- Salt makes things taste better. Salt is healthy, our bodies require it (sometimes in smaller doses) to stay alive. And salt helps preserve. We want to be those things for you—we want to make life more enjoyable; help bring good health (in lots of ways—not just bodily); and preserve the things that are good and working the way they should be. Good legal counsel can do all this. And we will strive this year to be salty, for we don’t want to lose our purpose! Matthew 5:14.
- Light guides the way, giving perspective and clarity. And, of course, Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Being made in his image, we are also light bearers. At Pinnacle, it is our prayer that we can help guide and give perspective and clarity to your problems, issues, and opportunities. We won’t hide our lamp under a bowl! Matthew 5:15.
We look forward to being salt and light for you and your business.
