Jackie S. Homann
Jackie understands that legal issues can be challenging, which is why she takes a holistic approach, addressing each client’s unique business and legal circumstances. She is dedicated to providing effective business counseling and resolving legal matters promptly. If litigation arises, Jackie leverages her extensive experience in contract, construction, real estate, and bankruptcy disputes to guide clients toward informed decisions and successful outcomes.
Since 2002, Jackie has served as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee, managing asset liquidation and protecting the integrity of the bankruptcy system—a role that keeps her connected across various legal areas and enhances her ability to serve clients. Outside of work, Jackie is a wife, mother, and dancer who enjoys ballroom dancing with her husband and leading her church’s liturgical dance choir. She is deeply involved in her church, education, and the arts, and her three adult children share her commitment to community service.
Lori J. O’Connor
Lori devotes her practice to counseling clients in Indiana and Michigan in the areas of business and financial services law as well as trusts and estate planning.
Lori has a diverse background having worked in a federal appeals court, private practice, and at the executive leadership level in several publicly traded corporations. Her more than 30 years of experience in these settings has shaped her approach to legal counseling. Whether the client is a multi-national corporation, single-member LLC, or individual, her goal is the same: to be an approachable, responsive trusted advisor who provides practical legal advice that makes operational sense and advances the client’s business objectives.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys traveling, hiking, and bicycling with her husband. She is an avid sailor, racing ILCAs (Lasers) and teaching children to sail every summer in Eagle Lake Sailing Club’s junior program.
Samuel R. Homann
Sam serves as Pinnacle’s office manager and helps support Pinnacle’s attorneys and staff.
Sam started working for his mom, Jackie, in July 2024. He works primarily as her assistant in Chapter 7 bankruptcy trusteeship matters, but he also assists with client work as needed. He quickly learned the intricacies of both bankruptcy and litigation management. As office manager, he oversees the office and supports Pinnacle’s staff and attorneys. His prior management experience at Dairy Queen gave him the background needed to keep the office running smoothly, efficiently, and in an organized manner for the benefit of Pinnacle’s clients.
Outside of work, Sam is an active member of his church and serves as treasurer on the school board for the Michiana Lutheran Education Association. He founded Ultimate Werewolf Michiana, a nonprofit dedicated to building community through social deduction games.
